Drew Blythe Barrymore was born February 22 25th, 1975. She has been awarded numerous honors which include the Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award as along with five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She is a part of the Barrymore family and is the great-granddaughter John Barrymore. Barrymore became a well-known child actress through her role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The Extra-Terrestrial was the result of a highly publicized early childhood plagued by drugs and alcohol addiction, she wrote her autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 90s she appeared in a variety of films, like PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore appeared in several films alongside Adam Sandler, including The Wedding Singer 50 First Dates, and Blended. Barrymore became a star as a child actor with her appearance on E.T.
